Randy has been on staff as worship leader at Tabernacle since October 1993.  He graduated from Brewton-Parker College with a bachelor's degree in music.  He enjoys spending time with his wife Jolie, and his children, Luke, Mark, and Katie.  Aside from his family he enjoys riding his motorcycle and being involved with "Faith Riders" (a local motorcycle ministry) and boat riding.

Randy's goal at Tabernacle is to provide a musical atmosphere that encourages us all to worship and seek God.  "Sing to the Lord a new song" from Psalm 96 is his favorite verse of Scripture.

Two of his favorite lines are. . . "Worship is a lifestyle" and "Worship is an attitude of the heart".

Photo not available3.jpgJessica Boaen - Children's Coordinator

Jessica came to Tabernacle in 2009. She is a 2003 graduate from
Toombs County High School. She is the daughter of Jimmy Boaen and Meg Clarke, and has two sisters. Jessica enjoys listening to music, reading, writing, and playing trucks with her two adorable nephews.

"The Church is the place where God's children belong! All children need love and encouragement. It is my desire to help children experinece Christ like love by walking through life with them, celeberating who they are, and teaching them that God loves them and has an awesome plan for their lives."

Her favorite experience at Tabernacle is when a child experiences God's love, and commits to accepting Him as Lord and Savior.

Favorite Verse: "For You created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalms 139:13-14

Photo not available3.jpgKaren Wickstrom - Secertary

Karen came to Tabernacle in January 2005. She is a 1972 graduate of Dublin High School, and she completed courses in Business and Office Education in 1980. She and her husband Wayne have lived in the Vidalia area since 1998.

Affectionately know as "The Warden," Karen knows that ministry assistants make an important contribution to the welfare, support and fulfillment of the Church's mission. She looks forward to her daily interactions with the TBC family and works hard to make sure the day-to-day operations run smoothly.

Karen loves the outdoors and deer hunts with her husband. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with friends and family, especially her granddaughter Rachel.

Favorite Verse: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11

and his wife, Shanna, have two girls named Bria and Shaylee.

Hobbies: Playing with my daughters and pumping iron (can't you tell?)

Dislikes: Any vegetable that is even the slightest color green.

Favorite Movie: Back to the Future

What he loves about his position: "I love seeing our students move from just attending to stepping up to serve and lead within the student ministry. I love hearing that our parents are making family worship a priority. And of course, I love seeing people transformed by Christ."

Favorite Verse: Php 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
